Long Freeze After Save

More of a quibble than anything, but after the saving progress bar goes away, KS freezes for about 10 seconds. The mouse returns to the normal pointer during this time so I sort of play with the interface until it responds to know when it's actually done saving. Is this normal? I find it annoying.

Are you saving locally, over a network, external hard drive or something else?

Saving to a network drive.

I assume it's your network broadband speed then..   
BIP files saves quickly for me (tested saving locally on a couple different machines). If it's not too much of a hassle, I'd save locally and then copy them to the network drive before a coffee break. Doesn't hurt to have a backup either.

I'll give that a go and see if that's what's causing the slow down. It's just strange that it happens after the progress bar hits 100% and goes away.
