Parts disappearing in rendering

  Uh? I have this problem that is puzzling me:

I added several renderings of an imported IGES file (from an unknown CAD program) in the render cue. Changing the colors, without changing the geometry or camera view in some renders parts are disappearing, in others they are visible. Moreover, when I launch the render again sometimes they appear, sometimes the disappear. In the render preview all parts are visible.


What's going on ? Any ideas?

Does it appear that parts are being clipped by the camera? Can you post an image?

Thanks for your reply Thomas. It is not a problem concerning clipping planes, the parts just don't show in some renders. The strange thing is they do appear from time to time in renders, without changing the camera. Unfortunately I can't post images since it only happens when i work with 1 specific file that contains a project I'm working on for my company.

Problem Solved...!

in MAYA,
Instead of pressing "3" and saving it in Smooth mode,
press '1' and keep it in simple mesh and Apply the "Smooth" to subdivide it , from 'MESH Menu'

then Import it in the Keyshot. it works Fine.
