These are the most important things and the ones I'm missing the most.

More support for interior rendering, something like the Portal Light in mental Ray and IES profile lights.

Activating/deactivating real time rendering, but still be able to see the scene in a basic rendering mode.

These would be really cool to have:

FBX animation importing support, including those brought originally from Real Flow to Maya and then to FBX.

Basic textures node: ramp, noise etc.

Maya plugin. I know the idea is to be an stand alone package, but it that bad to have a plugin that works like arnold, even if it is only for still images.

@1 IES light exist already
@2 Try performance mode (alt+P)

FBX animation is already supported except for deformations.

Looking into the Maya plugin.
