Keyshot can't open my file, it's in 3dm, i don't understand, i have many problems same to that one. Any solutions

KeyShot

It works fine here. Are you using the latest version of KeyShot? Which platform are you on?

I'm on windows 7 64, i'm using keyshot 2, v 2.0.46, licence n°hrer34kjijehyl3x9m4j. It happens with 99% of my 3dm files. When i import them it says -see my attachment. There are no bad objects in my 3dm files. I don't understand... Your help is crucial. I have a really angry client waiting for my render!!! I send you other 3dm file that keyshot can't open.
Thanks for your precious and vital help

Try turning off "use new importers" in preferences.

KeyShot

I just tried the diving knife model, and it worked fine (this was on a mac). I have attached the bip file.

I've found the most reliable way to always get models to import is the following:
In Rhino after your model is set up as you want it run "ClearAllMeshes"
Run "Shade"
Save (as 4.0 if you're using 5.0)

Your import should work fine.  You may also want to make sure all of your normals are pointing the right way too.

Before I started doing this I would get "empty" files or weird geometry (square wheels, missing pieces, etc.)

thanks, i'll try that!
When is the new service released of Keyshot available?
