Has anyone had problems returning a borrowed floating license?  We can ping the license sever.  We never had this problem prior to 5.0.

I am also experiencing this problem.  I try to return a borrowed license on our work network over Ethernet, and it says it works than exits the program, but then when I open it back up its still a "borrowed" license under license info.  On the server side, I preform a status inquiry under LMTools and it still shows that my work station has a license checked out.  Is there a way to force this license to return?

Is there not a way to do this licensing more like Adobe does with Creative Cloud? If I forget to log out of my account at work and need to log in at home, when I launch Photoshop (for instance) it tells me the available licenses are being used, would I like to log all users out? I then log out, put in my username/password at home and I'm up and running.

I tried to activate Keyshot to work on something while on vacation last week (I had deactivated at home this time), but got an error saying the serial number wasn't valid for KS5. I'm pretty sure it was the serial number I used at home t activate KS5 the first time. It was late, and I didn't want to be dealing with it on vacation so I gave up and pissed of a client instead.

The current system is too buggy, and complex. I understand you will not get into the "allow on two systems" approach to licensing, but at least make the current workflow better for those of us who are paying customers.

Please!!
