Hi All

Been lurking in the dark forests of the forum for quite some time and have decided today to make my first post.
I just do this to pass the time, I don't work in any creative 3D medium, just have a love for cars, maybe Keyshot is my digital Meccano ( don't want to show my age)
Model is from Evermotion, HDRi and backplate shot by me. I know its not perfect, far from but it's my 3rd attempt , but I also wanted it as a way to introduce myself.

Just also wanted to say, there are some truly inspirational and amazing artists on this site !

loving the community.

Welcome! Very glad you're here. Wonderful first post as well and you're certainly correct about inspirational artists. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

I have watched  all your Webinars and they are just fantastic ! it's amazing how much knowledge you share and how much your willing to help, been looking at many of your works too - amazing.

Thank you for welcoming me to an open door.

with regards to the image, could you tear it apart ?

I personally found it impossible to comp the car into photoshop to make it look more like a photo snap,.

Things I done so far to the image

added motion blur
gausian blur
grain to the car
grain on the Back Plate image
grain on the image
faded the car layer

but it looked too shiney and new, any ideas ?

Thanks.

HI
I usually  don't do a critique unless asked.  So since you asked,  there are two things that have to be done first.
Your light source is not inline with the back-plate. your light source on the back-plate is coming from the front but your light source on the coopper is coming from the back. Next the background needs to be straighten out on the sides. Look at the vertical lines they are bending. Lets get this straighten out first before we go any further. I will send a PM to you so we can do this off line.
