If I first drag a material on my model and then later do an alt + drag onto the same part of the model Keyshot crashes so bad that the bridge can't connect to it again.
In order to get the bridge to find Keyshot again a manual start of Keyshot is needed.
Restarting the computer did not help.

It might seem stupid to alt + drag when there no longer was any texture to keep on the model but the reason for doing so was this.
After dragging the material and losing the textures it did not help to send the model over again from the zBrush.
So I was lost on how to get my textures back on the model.
So it was a desperate try to alt + drag, with the hope that Keyshot had saved the original textures and would put it back on if I used a alt + drag.

Actually, it would had been nice if it would had worked in case one deletes the texture by mistake. :)

Used zBrush 4R7 64bit and Keyshot 5.1 for zBrush on Windows 7 64bit

Hey Hellborn,

Thank you for the report and suggestion.

Did the part originally have a matcap, polypaint, or texture?

What material did you originally drag onto the part? What material did you alt + drag onto the part?

Hellborn

The model originally had polypaint on it.
Replaced with HumanSkin(dont remember the name but it was the brighter one of the two existing) using drag.
Then alt + drag with same material again and then it crashed.

I'm not 100 percent sure but I think that I used Basic material one time and matCap in a second test.
If you can't repeat it I can make a new test to se if I can repeat it, making more notes about materials in case it matters for the result.
I can also check if it only happens on that perticular model if needed.

I am able to reproduce with Human Skin and Human Skin 2. Thank you for reporting this.
