Hi all;

My friend Brian Yingling is a professional modelmaker, specializing in classics from the 1940's and 1950's.  He's been building custom large scale (1/6th mostly) models for over 25 years, for high-end collectors.  He's now using Additive Manufacturing (or Rapid Prototyping, as it used to be called) for most of his work, most originally created in 3Dmax.

So we're kinda teaming up to showcase some of his models in KeyShot.  Duh!  The first is the famous 1948 Buick Streamliner.  It had a powerful straight-six behind the cockpit, and some of the most amazing lines ever created in an automobile.  The original color is a "metallic burgundy-orange", but I just had to render it in black, to better suit the beautiful backplate available from the KeyShot Cloud.

And no, his CAD models are not available!

And you captured those lines perfectly. Loving this look Bill.

For those like me who have never even heard of this car, let alone seen pictures of it, here's a couple of links.
What a beaut! I think you did it justice!

Thanks guys!  She is truly a magnificent automobile!  And thanks for the links- shots I had not seen before.  I re-rendered it in her proper colors, and man, what a "looker"!
