Hey, everybody!
How to combine two (or more) opacity maps? I've been experimenting with the Color Composite node with all types of Blend Modes but nothing worked.
Thanks!

Hello Jikkk.

I guess you're on the right track.
What are the resources for the composite node?
You can also combine several procedural textures.
Or use a color to number node between the composite node and the opacity channel.

If you tell us which version of KeyShot do you use, I can post an example.

Cheers

Hey!
My inputs are two Mesh textures with different setting (Circular and rectangular). I am using KeyShot Pro 7.2.

Yeah! Does it work as you expected?

Hi Jikkk.
I just tried this out and can see that it at first behaves a bit differently than if you've used bitmaps.

I found that if you in each mesh texture change the alpha mode to 'opaque', then they will blend like regular bitmaps.

Let me know if it works for you.
Cheers,

Jikkk

Thanks Esben..
It now works like it should be. You're a Keyshot master!!!!  :)

Hey Marco. Esben tip works. Thanks anyway!

Glad to see, that this works.

It is a lil different if you write on a mobile phone or have an access to a system to test.

Esben's doin' right!!!
