First of all: Awesome job on that image. Very impressively implemented! Can't even see where the backplate starts/stops. Bravo!

Secondly, I've had the same issue with a scene, which has made me a bit careful on doing heavy displacement jobs. Luckily I had an earlier project saved, but i know the pain (whatever that's worth).

somebody gave me some advise about it, hide the displaced parts before saving... when you wanna load the project again it will start without problem and keyshot won't crash or anything, then you can make them all visible and execute the nodes again. that worked perfectly for me hope it helps you too
