hello,

I am looking for a good environment for hdri rendering white diamonds, please.

Or, what does it have to comply with white diamonds: fire, not too rich for other metal objects support.

Thank you.

White diamonds is not about HDRI only but material too.

In GEM material, you have a last part called "nombre d'abbe" and it could be like a level of "rainbow".

Try to play with it and...

Sometimes you have to do 2 renders :

1for the diamonds with the good light

1for the chrome material

Hope it helps :-)

very informative

thank you for the comment, I'll try.  :) :)

I started on Photoshop and compositing ...

How is it to assemble two independent reports in Photoshop and be able to set two records in isolation, in contrast, curves, levels, etc ...

Do you have a link to a tutorial for this method, please?

thank you in advance.

http://zbyg.deviantart.com/art/HDRi-Pack-1-97402522 imoh, the 8th gives good results.
In addition to Ray bounces, you need also to play with height / rotate and size of HDRI to get better results on diamonds.
