ease in / ease out

So I have noticed for animation or turntables, if you chose ease in or ease out, the acceleration lasts till the last frame.
So here's my suggestion.  With these options, why not add an input box where you can chose from 100% down to 1% for the "acceleration frames" ?
This way we can set the acceleration zone to be the first 25% when ease in is chosen.
And best yet would be if the acceleration were a non linear curve value ... if you understand what I mean.
