After posting, would like to return to same thread

Is it possible to request that when we post in a thread, we get returned to that thread and not to the topics page before it? I like to read my own post after I make it in case I made a mistake, and would like to stay in the thread after posting like the way the vast majority of forums do it. I can always click the  back button to return to the forum topics page myself.
