Over the past two weeks I've been rendering 5000 frames worth of animations.
Almost half of this involves camera animations (no moving objects).

In KS 4 each frame is rendered as if it were a still. The GI is calculated for each frame over and over again, eventhough the GI solution for each frame in a camera animation should be identical.

Rendering of camera animations could be sped up greatly if a HQ GI solution was calculated once and used for each frame in the animation.
Then the animation also wouldn't show flickering when rendered with advanced control, due to GI variance frame-to-frame.

Some render engines already allow the use of a precomputed GI 'map' to achieve faster and more consistent results.
