This might have been mentioned by someone, but they buried it in a "personal wishlist" item instead of a single thread per item. Those get ignored by most users other than staff. Comments usually add traction to an item.

I have a material that I used in a previous file. So what's the best way for me to get at it? I have to save my current file, open the other one, add that material to a library, or export the material to a file, then I can import that once I open the other file?

It's less work just to recreate the material, unless you absolutely need it to match.

I'd like to have something in the material library area that allowed me to open just the materials in a file as a folder in the library. I could pick whichever materials I want from that list. That should be a temporary action though. I wouldn't want to add those materials to the library All the time. Probably just a per usage basis. Once I close Keyshot, that's cleared out unless I choose to add the library permanently.
